Joey
Joseph Capodagli
| My beloved son, gone too soon. Joey was my first child and became my best friend. We grew up together as I was pregnant at 16. He turned my life around as well as many others. I would not be who I am today without him being part of my life. He was wonderful. A loyal son, brother, friend, and soldier. His sense of humor and total love of life was phenominal. He touched so many and could have done anything.
I gave him to the Army. I will devote my life in his honor to protect the rights of our soldiers. I still have no answers, no closure. He had fallen through the system in the military. I could not save him before it was too late. But Joey, I promise you, your death will not be in vain. |
