Leila Aurelia Carrillo HEAVEN'S NEW ANGEL You're a true friend, and I want you to know our love for each other has helped us grow. We've been through tough times, but we made it through. As the only place I trusted in was in you. You've helped me with my anger and chased my away my fears. You've helped me through my sadness and dried up all my tears. You stayed by my side when the world turned away, you helped me see the joy when the skies were all grey. You helped me be different when I should'nt conform, you were the rainbow at the end of every storm. You held my hand when you knew I would fall, every laugh and hartache you were there through it all. We thought nothing could shake our bond, who knew that so quickly you could be gone? But only in body, your spirit is here, where ever we travel we know you'll be near. Now the angels have you in heaven where you'll stay, though it brings to my heart so much dismay. I know that you'll always be looking down, transforming my smiles from every frown. So I'm writing this poem in hopes that you'll see, just how much you really mean to me. I'm sorry for the times we argued, for scuabbling of any sort. But now you're safe in gods protection, you're a true friend right down to perfection. It's not a good-bye or I miss you so much, as you're still alive in those hearts you touched. Friends forever and ever to the end, and all my love I will always send.
