It takes a lot to be without you. You are missed and in thought everyday. We are only blessed with one real set of parents, and I am glad to have had you as my father, my "Daddy". I know in your own humble way that you had love for me, and the children you had after me. There had always been a special bond between us, and to me it is priceless. Other than your presence, I miss your wisdom, your insight, and your way of resolving situations about life. You had a lot of principles and you stood up for what you believed was right. Many times you and I debated your intelligence, maybe you were being modest, but all I said was true.It takes a very smart man to be down to earth and grounded as you were. I know a lot of people never realized that you were special in mind and thought, but I saw it, and felt it. Although you lived a life of simplicity and humbleness, you were dripping with riches from the heart. A little demanding at times, and a lot stubborn in what you believed in, you were rich with love from within, and I hope I was not the only one to see it. My last words to you were, I love you, and you returned them with the same. I will always hear them, treasure them, and remember them. Yes, I miss you, but I know you suffer no more, and I hope you found that track in the heavens to place your bets as often as you wish. I have been told, and I believe in my heart we will see the other again. That day will be very special. "Daddy", although you have gone Home and no longer walk with us, it is understood to be a time of separation. We will meet again, you and I, and the rest of your loved ones, one by one. Until then, watch over us and give us a shove every now and then to encourage or protect us, as you now have ultimate insight on us all. Please, pay particular attention to the grandchildren you have as I can speak for them, they miss you tremendously.I am going to close now...never my love just this thought...I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!
