Bumma Seth Goodling Seth was such a very special young man. He went home to be with Jesus, at the age of 24 years, 3 months and 12 days, the day before Thanksgiving which is a day that has changed my life forever. He was the joy of my life, my son, my friend, my helper, my protector. He brought love and laughter into each life he touched, and they were never the same. He had the sweetest spirit, a heart that was so very gentle and when he entered a room it immediately lit up. If you were down, he brought you up. His smile was radiant and he could bring a smile to the most saddened heart. He was always there for those he loved, no matter what. His life is celebrated and remembered each year the Friday after Thanksgiving by his closest and dearest friends and family. I make pizza and his buddies come over and share stories and laughter. At midnight a toast is given in his memory and then a trip to the cemetery to remember how he blessed our lives and then we close with a prayer. What a blessing to this mothers heart to know that his friends loved him so much and continue to love, honor, and remember him each year. We also, celebrate his life with a memorial golf tournament each year followed by a glorious meal and celebration. I count it a blessing and a privilege to have been chosen by God to be his mom. He brought so much joy to my life, my youngest son. I know that I will see him again one day, but for now he is basking in the presense of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Until then my son, I love you dearly, and you are missed by your brothers, nieces and nephews and so many more. Your life was such a blessiing to so many. You not only live on in our hearts but every heart you touched. So many lives were changed by your short presense on this earth. I can not wait to see you again.
