"shaner" Shane Jackson In memory of my son, shane. he was just 12 yrs old, and his life was cut short july 13,1999 .as he was sleeping , on the way home from a weekend of camping and swimming,the car he was riding home in, with his dad, brother, and 2 other kids, and their mom, suddenly had some sort of car problem.it was almost midnite, and they were stalled in the fast lane on hiway 58, they woke up the kids, to get them to the road side, due to oncoming truckers and autos that were flying by in the darkness.within just a couple of seconds, i'm told, that when everyone was exiting the car to the right, shane exited to the left, and then wasn't seen again.. his dad was getting the lil one out of the seat belt, while shane (i was told) went aroud the opposite side, and probably thought to be safe he'd get on the other side of the short wall, a 33 inch retainer wall.. when his dad came to the group, thats when he noticed shane wasn't with them.. he got his flashlight and looked over the"wall".. and then see's they were IN THE MIDDLE of a bridge!!!! shane went over, falling to his death, 78 feet, in the dark!! no screams, nothing!!! i miss him so so so much, theres no way to even explain the death of your child! bless you shane! mom loves you!! rest in peace son! XXOO IFTEARS COULD A stairway and memories were a lane, we could walk all the way to heaven and bring you home again.no fairwell words were spoken, no time to say good bye, you were gone before we knew it, and only god knows why!our hearts ache in saddness,and secret tears will flow, what is has meant to lose you, NO ONE will ever know!
