The Unfinished Symphony of Michael Kostanian
As a young boy
my life was a calm flowing
stream with clear, blue waters.
It has become a waterfall
crying to see the light
of those friends I will never forget.
My mom said I always tried to imitate
my sister on the piano
Little did I know that playing
the piano was a talent
God gave me. A love
for the piano will always burn
inside me.
The halls were so big.
I felt so small, so helpless, I guess.
I came from a little Armenian school.
By June I was pretty well known
and had a gorgeous girlfriend.
It was perfect.
I am lost now, but in a different way.
I have changed. I am smarter.
Only the people I trust see
"the True me."
I am still a teenager.
I am still learning.
I will be learning
my whole life through.
My music would carry me to heaven.
