Elsie Mc Cullah

Dear Grandma Jeanine, although I never got to know you, I can feel you in my heart. I was named for you. My parents both have kind words about you, and How I Wish I had gotten to know you, too. You died before I was born, and my parents thought I might die, too, because I was premature. I was at the same hospital you died in, in the neonatal care unit. I lived, and I think I'll be all right now. It was not fair that you died, but I believe you knew that despite all the fussing and fighting you had done your best. Billy and Ted are closer than ever, and we see Billy and his family often. He is going to be all right. I know you were watching out for him. Kerick is going to be a father, and is married. Daddy and I are closer now than when I was younger, and he often talks about you. He likes to sing as much as you did, but he doesn't think the nightclub scene is feasible.:) I see your face when I look in the mirror, and I am proud, because you were beautiful. I know in my heart it was you I saw the night Gramps died. I heard you tell me "it would all be just fine". I know when we finally do meet, I will not want to ever leave.
