Joseph Palumbo, Jr.

Joe was my big brother, my only brother. Even though he was 7 years older then me, growing up with him was the best part of growing up. We had great times together. He was always there for me, always watching over me. loved calling me his little sister. Telling me, "Big brothers always watching." I believe he still is. I was so proud to have him for my brother and I loved him so much. And I am so greatful that I had the chance to tell him that. That love will live forever. No one can take that from me. Memories are forever. My brother Joe served in the vietnam war. Volunteered for infantry. As a young man he was a member of the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan, NY. Self taught himself the game of chess and got to play with many great chess players at the club. He taught himself the piano and played at many recitals. even wrote songs, the one I loved was the one he wrote for me, "I get a kick out of Frances" it never went anywhere but in my heart it's still there. Even was a tour guide for Lufthansa took many people to Israel to see where the Lord Jesus walked. He worked for Lufthansa for 33 years as a regional sales director. After that he formed his own company called the Palcogroup. It is a flushing based investment fund co. He also had a column at the Time Ledger Newspaper, as in, "Hows Business" He taught himself German and spoke it very well. He wrote songs, poems, sold soup machines to pianos. The last thing he did was write a book, "NOW IT CAN BE TOLD" When he was just a little boy my mom told me he would ring door bells and waited until the person opened the door and he would say, "ning-a-ning. He was a born salesman. He was a great son to Joe and Kay Palumbo. They were so proud of him. Now he joins them. Joe, I love you, I too one day will join you... and then NO ONE will be able to seperate us. May God watch over you and keep you. I love you so much and I will never forget you or our wonderful times we shared. Love you always, your sister Frances Palumbo
