Kisha Parham

When I think about Kisha, I am filled with pride. Through all of her pain and discomfort during her illness she never complained. She was one of the happiest people you'd ever want to meet. I remember her strenghth too. I remember her request to be baptised a few days before she passed. She knew her time was near. I remember a few hour before she passed, although she couldn't hear, could barely see and could not talk, she still tried to communicate her love to her parents and the rest of the family that had gathered there. I don't only remember the sad stuff though. I remember she had a laugh that would light up the darkest sky. I remember her honesty too - like one of the times she was too honest and told grandma that I let her and my other cousin smoke cigarettes.

Kisha,

May God's peace and love be with you until we meet again!!!
