chimmy chunga Waite Willow Willow you are in my thoughts always. may you soar with the Angels high in the sky of Heaven. Willow waite was a 16 month old little girl who was backed over by a vehicle that was driven by her grandmother. It reportedly ran over her Head and she was dragged.she was unresponsive,911 was called and she was taken from driveway inside house where grandmother and police officers began CPR. on arrival of ems she had a GCS of 3, she was intubated on sene and an I-O was placed for IV fluids. she was transported to st.Anthonys hospital in pendleton OR. where she was evaluated and diagnostics revealed a bibasilar skull fracture with subarachnoid bleeding and a large posterior laceration. she had swelling of the upper occiput.Her pupils were non reactive and she was not moving. there was blood coming from her mouth and nose.there was cyanosis of her palms , fingers,and lips.arrangements were made ,and she was transported to Lagacy Emanuel hospital in portland. by LIFE flight she was unstable en route. Willow arrived at Emanuel Emergency,bay 1,as a level 1 transfer trauma at 1900. she was intubated,her etco2 was 19. she had a faint femoral pulse, and the monitor showed sinus brady.there was no blood pressure. Her temperture was 33.7 rectally. she was evaluated by the trauma team, and pediatrics. CPR was initiated several times, throughout her reuscitation. multiple lines were placed, she was re-intubated upon arrival. she was taken to CT.and during , her heart rate went up to 150. she developed asytole with no palpable pulses. and no blood pressure by arterial monitor. no electrical activity ensude, after 8 minutes of cardiopulmonary resuscitation she was declared dead ,at which time her rhythm was asystole,and absent heart tones, she was pronounced at 2009... ...................................................................................... willow fought a long hard fight to stay with us. and in her short lived life she loved most, her brother and sister. what a happy little girl she was. it is amazing to me ,how much you love someone in such little time. there is hope after a rain storm.. Jonas and Whisper still talk about her to this day but always good, and they were there to witness her death. they whatched her being pulled out from under that car.. what amazing stories the nurses told , about her fight to live. everytime a nurse brought up your family will be here she would breathe on her own.. they said she smiled when she died. my dad and I built her coffin with her name in pretty purple letters on the side. I lined it with purple satin and my aunt made her a quilt and pillow with lace around the edges.. sometime when I think of her ,I see her blowing bubbles in HEAVEN.. her place in the cemetry is always beautiful ,with flowers that match every season. butterflies are everywhere ,she is in the moutains where the sun fills the sky every morning, and leaves her with a sunset. to all my hopes and dreams I could never ask God for anymore than what he has gave me.. that most wonderful 16 months with WILLOW. suzie willows mommy.. chimmy chunga Waite Jae Willow Born may 15th 2004 Pendleton Oregon USA Passed Away sept 23rd 2005 portland Oregon USA Cemetery moon creek Oregon usa Memorial Gardens
