Matthew Zubovic

Matthew was a very good son and we miss him a lot. He was born with his intestines out side of his body. The doctors told us not to get our hopes up to ever take him home alive. But God chose to give us 23 wonderful years with him. At three weeks they found he had a bowel obstruction due to Cf.F. Matthew was a fighter from the first day. We finally got to take him home when he was 7 weeks old. He had a chance to play baseball, saxophone in Jr. High band. finish high school and Get a degree in Criminal Justice in Community College. It was a dream to work in law enforcement but it was not to be. Cystic Fibrosis, Bowel problems, and arthritis took its tool. Matthew spent most of 1997 in the hospital. The hardest thing you can do is sit and watch your child die and know there is nothing you can do. One of the songs played at his service was the song by Vince Gill called GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN. Matthew is with God on his mountain top looking over us now. We miss you and love for always. LOVE MA DADDY
